Hi, I’m Mojdeh. My background is in public education and community mental health. After graduating with my Counseling Psychology degree, I completed my training as an associate therapist and worked as a licensed therapist at a group practice. I opened my liberation-focused private practice four years ago, providing therapy for BIPOC children and adults and cross-cultural couples. I am also a clinical supervisor and have facilitated groups as well.

I provide a healing space that centers your cultures and identities. Drawing on your ancestral wisdom and intuition, we can then create transformation within your communities.

I work with activists and organizers, artists and creatives, children of immigrants, cross-cultural couples, and highly sensitive people. I support clients navigating anxiety, grief, intergenerational trauma, political climate stress, psychosomatic experiences, racial identity, relationships, sexuality, and systemic oppression.

My approach is culturally affirming and responsive, liberation-focused, and racial trauma-informed. I have a warm, empathetic, and intuitive approach. My ultimate goal is to create a sacred and safe space for you.

In individual therapy, I begin by learning about your history on a personal and collective level. In the first several sessions, I will gather this information and understand what you are wanting to work toward in therapy. In the first few months, we will build our rapport and develop our relationship with each other.

As our work deepens, I will continue to learn about you, your unique place in the world, and how you want to make change for yourself and for your communities.

Outside of my clinical work, I am passionate about ancestral healing, astrology, collective liberation, social justice, supporting local artists and musicians, traveling, and vintage shopping.
