Hi, I’m Sydney. I have experience providing individual, family, and group psychotherapy across the full continuum of care, including adult eating disorder Residential Treatment (RTC), Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), adolescent mental health Residential Treatment (RTC), and outpatient private practice.
I specialize in treating eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, emotion dysregulation, and co-occurring concerns. I use a trauma-informed, relational, and evidence-based approach, integrating CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS-informed work, and mindfulness, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
I work with adolescents and adults, including LGBTQIA+ clients, supporting recovery, identity development, and lasting change. I provide a warm, collaborative space where clients feel understood and can explore underlying patterns, build insight, and develop practical skills for meaningful growth.
My approach is both validating and gently challenging. I help clients strengthen self-trust, improve emotional regulation, process difficult experiences, and create lives aligned with their values. I tailor treatment to each client’s needs, pace, and goals, fostering an authentic and compassionate therapeutic relationship.
I especially enjoy working with adolescents and young adults navigating identity, relationships, and life transitions, and I’m passionate about providing affirming care for LGBTQIA+ individuals. I commonly support concerns such as eating disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, self-worth, and emotion regulation, as well as patterns like burnout, perfectionism, and people-pleasing.
My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in both reflection and practical skill-building. Sessions focus on understanding patterns, building coping strategies, and creating meaningful change in thoughts, behaviors, and relationships.
My goal is for clients to feel safe, understood, and empowered, gaining insight, practical tools, and a stronger sense of self-trust and resilience. Over time, I hope clients feel more connected to themselves and confident navigating life’s challenges in ways that align with their values.
Outside of work, I value adventure, connection, and lifelong learning, which inform how I show up with clients.
If you’re considering therapy, you don’t need to have everything figured out. Therapy can be a space to slow down, make sense of what feels overwhelming, and explore what’s getting in the way. Wherever you’re starting from, you’re welcome here.
