Hi, I’m Nicole. I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and the founder of Fortitude Mental Health Group. I provide online psychiatric care for adults throughout California, specializing in psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing mental health support.

I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, sleep difficulties, stress, life transitions, and other mental health concerns. My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and personalized to each individual's unique needs and goals. I believe good mental health care starts with feeling heard, and I take the time to understand the bigger picture rather than focusing on symptoms alone.

I enjoy working with adults of all ages, especially young adults, college students, and individuals balancing the demands of work, school, relationships, and everyday life. I also welcome those seeking psychiatric care for the first time or looking for a new provider after feeling that their previous treatment wasn't the right fit.

My style is warm, down-to-earth, collaborative, and honest, with a little humor when appropriate. I want appointments to feel like genuine conversations rather than a checklist of symptoms. I listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and provide clinical guidance while encouraging clients to actively participate in their care.

Sessions with me are relaxed, conversational, and focused on what matters most to you. We'll discuss how you've been feeling, what's been challenging, what's improving, and any concerns you may have. When medication is appropriate, I'll explain treatment recommendations, including potential benefits and drawbacks, so you can make informed decisions. If something isn't working, we'll explore adjustments together.

My goal is to help clients feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. Over time, I hope clients experience improvements in anxiety, focus, sleep, emotional balance, and everyday functioning while developing greater confidence in understanding and managing their mental health. I believe even small improvements can make a meaningful difference.

I'm passionate about making psychiatric care feel approachable and less intimidating. I believe everyone deserves to have their concerns taken seriously, their questions answered, and their treatment options explained clearly. Helping individuals better understand their mental health and feel empowered in their treatment decisions is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
