Clientele seen

Hi, I'm Jenna. I enjoy working with individuals, families, and couples who are seeking assistance in achieving goals that will enhance their lives and overall well-being.

I strive to create a safe and supportive environment for my clients to encourage authentic expression and a deeper understanding of self. With compassion and empathy, I meet my clients where they’re at in their mental health journey and aspire to help them view their presenting issues through a fresh and transformative lens.

I have experience working with clients struggling with various presenting issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relational conflict, and more. I use a strengths-based approach to help my clients focus on their resilient qualities rather than their perceived deficits.

My work tends to take a holistic approach to treatment, often examining the various systems impacting a client’s well-being (e.g. mind, body, spirit, community, access to resources, etc.). I aim to enhance my client’s knowledge in psychoeducation, skill-building, and mindfulness strategies.

For children and creative adults, I enjoy exploring artistic ways of expressing thoughts and emotions. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize how their thoughts and self-talk influence their emotions and behaviors. I also use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) techniques to help teach my clients skills in regulating emotions, effective interpersonal communication, and mindfulness.
