Hi, I'm Alison. As the founder of Insightful Matters Family Counseling Professionals, Inc., established in 2015, my mission is to make mental health counseling and medication management more accessible to individuals and families. Recognizing the ongoing shortage of therapists and prescribers who accept health insurance, we are proud to be in-network with most major insurers, ensuring our clients have access to quality care. We prioritize maintaining availability for both new and returning clients, offering flexible scheduling options that include in-person, remote, and hybrid appointments to suit diverse needs.

Our interdisciplinary team provides collaborative, comprehensive care, ensuring that clients and their loved ones receive tailored support. With physical locations in Huntington Beach and Anaheim, California, we are deeply involved in our community, extending our services beyond the office. Through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP), we offer mental health support for employers, managers, and their teams, either on-site, remotely, or in our offices. We also respond to Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) calls and are available for wellness speaking engagements.

Our nonprofit, Insightful Resources, Inc., which I dreamt to life in 2021, not only focuses on supporting school systems by working directly with students, teachers, educators, and their families through on-site services but also offers affordable, accessible mental health care to the wider community on a sliding scale. In addition, we provide mental health workshops and community education to promote awareness and support overall wellness.

While much of my time is dedicated to ensuring our team delivers compassionate, high-quality care, I continue to personally serve as an ASL-fluent therapist for clients in need and respond to critical stress incidents. At Insightful Matters, we remain committed to fostering mental wellness across the communities we serve.
