Hi, I'm Amanda. In my practice I aim to support my clients through different transitions and stages throughout their lives. With all the information we are constantly taking in, it is easy to lose ourselves or feel stuck in different versions of our stories. As a result this can leave us feeling an array of different emotions and confused on where to start. However, the great thing about feeling lost is that it gives us the opportunity to find ourselves again. My goal is to help you disentangle yourself from those stories and embrace all the parts of your own, by reclaiming the authors pen and adding chapters towards telling a story that feels authentically yours. My humanistic and collaborative approach will allow us to connect and provide a safe space for you tell your story without fear of critisim or judgement. I value the therapeutic relationship and aim to help support you in exploring areas of change that help you reach your goals. I utilize various treatment modalities such as Narrative, Solution-focus, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialetical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I have experience in treating women’s issues, body image, self-esteem, communication, gender and sexuality , eating disorders, learning disorders, life transitions, stress management, perinatal mental health and post-partum support, Anxiety, OCD, and Depression.
