Hi, I’m Kadrea. With over a decade of clinical experience, I’ve worked in community mental health, outpatient clinics, crisis teams, and inpatient settings, supporting children, adolescents, and adults. My work has centered on serving BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities.
I offer a supportive, culturally responsive space where clients can slow down, reflect, and reconnect with themselves. My role is not to tell you who to be, but to help you better understand who you already are beneath anxiety, self-doubt, and external expectations. Together, we build insight, coping tools, healthier boundaries, and confidence to live in alignment with your values.
I’m especially passionate about working with Black and Brown teens and adults, while also welcoming individuals from other communities of color seeking an affirming space. Many of my clients are high-achieving and empathetic individuals learning to prioritize themselves and move beyond survival mode.
I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, PMDD, burnout, life transitions, trauma, people-pleasing, perfectionism, and relationship challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and empowering. I integrate humanistic, mindfulness, and somatic practices, balancing compassion with gentle challenge to support growth and lasting change.
I strive to create a space that feels safe, grounding, and restorative—where you can show up fully as yourself without judgment. Sessions are conversational and interactive, often incorporating mindfulness, grounding, psychoeducation, and values-based work to help you build tools for everyday life.
My goal is for you to leave therapy with greater self-awareness, stronger boundaries, and the confidence to navigate life with resilience and self-trust.
Outside of therapy, I love traveling and have visited over 30 countries. I enjoy exploring new cultures, spending time in nature, practicing Pilates, and finding ways to slow down and reconnect.
It only takes a small step to begin meaningful change. Reaching out for support is courageous, and I would be honored to walk alongside you on your healing journey.
