Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

LMFT 151021

Hi, I’m Megan. I have 16 years of clinical experience working with children, teens, adults, couples, families, and groups in hospitals, IOP/PHP, LAUSD high schools, and community mental health settings.

I provide warm, collaborative, trauma-informed support that is grounded in compassion and practical strategies. I help clients make sense of what they’re carrying, build coping tools, and move toward a life that feels more manageable and aligned with their values.

I especially enjoy working with children, teens, adults, couples, families, and groups navigating medical trauma, chronic illness, chronic pain, disability, illness anxiety, grief, and caregiver burnout. I also welcome clients who are coping with major life transitions, stress, and the emotional impact of health-related challenges.

I frequently help clients with trauma, anxiety, grief, chronic stress, identity shifts related to illness or disability, burnout, and the emotional strain of caregiving. I also support clients who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves while trying to manage complex life and health circumstances.

My style is warm, direct, collaborative, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed. I aim to create a space that feels both supportive and structured, where clients can feel understood while also making meaningful progress.

I want clients to feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood. I hope they leave sessions feeling a little more grounded, a little less alone, and more hopeful about what’s possible.

Sessions with me are compassionate, thoughtful, and grounded in real conversation. We may explore what’s happening emotionally, identify patterns, and build practical tools so you can feel more supported both in and between sessions.

Over time, I hope clients gain a deeper sense of self-trust, resilience, and relief. My goal is for clients to feel more equipped to navigate health-related stress, grief, and life challenges with greater confidence and self-compassion.

I’m passionate about helping people feel seen, supported, and less alone in difficult seasons of life. Outside of work, I’m drawn to creativity, meaningful connection, and anything that helps people heal and reconnect with themselves.

You do not have to carry everything by yourself. My goal is to offer a space that feels compassionate, steady, and collaborative as we work through what’s weighing on you and build toward relief, clarity, and a stronger sense of self.
