Hi, I’m Morgan. I began my career in community mental health, providing in-home therapeutic services to clients ages 6 to 65 with a wide range of concerns. I later transitioned into the school system, supporting children and adolescents in managing emotional and behavioral challenges so they could fully engage in learning.
In 2021, I joined a group practice in Newport Beach, where I focused on supporting neurodivergent individuals. In 2023, I opened my own private practice, where I continue this work and support clients with a variety of mental health needs.
My approach is two-pronged. On the practical side, we look at how your routines, coping skills, and motivation strategies affect daily life and make adjustments that better support your mental health.
On the emotional side, I help you understand your feelings, how they show up in your body, and how past experiences and family dynamics continue to influence your current patterns. The goal is to better understand both where these patterns come from and how they show up in real time.
I enjoy working with neurodivergent adults, overthinkers, worriers, and people who struggle with the gap between what they want to do and their motivation to do it. I also enjoy working with siblings of disabled adults. Growing up with many family members with autism gave me firsthand insight into the unique experiences siblings often navigate.
Common concerns I work with include ADHD and Autism-related challenges, difficulties connecting with peers, anxiety, overthinking, rumination, executive functioning difficulties, career concerns, caregiving stress, and neurodivergent burnout.
My style is warm, energetic, and conversational. While I may revisit previous topics or “homework,” sessions are generally flexible and guided by curiosity. I trust that meaningful conversations naturally connect back to your goals.
I am also direct. If I have a question, I ask it. If I notice a gap between what you want and what you’re doing, I’ll gently point it out. Above all, I want clients to feel seen, understood, and hopeful about their ability to navigate life’s challenges.
Sessions with me are relaxed and collaborative. I tend to move around and use fidgets while processing information, creating a casual environment where you can safely explore difficult emotions, experiences, or memories.
My biggest goal is to help clients approach their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and relationships with curiosity rather than judgment. I want you to better understand how your mind works, recognize your patterns, and trust your ability to handle what comes next.
Outside of work, I enjoy long “thinking walks,” playing Stardew Valley, and following Major League Baseball and Formula 1.
I’m happy to schedule a 15-minute consultation to see if I’m the right fit for what you’re looking for.
