Hi, I'm Ashley. I believe therapy to be an important relationship, in which you feel heard, understood, and safe, while also being open to new challenges for growth. My goal as your therapist is to work with you collaboratively to foster an approachable catalyst for change. I intend to help identify what is not working for you, and will implement an eclectic approach to find solutions that are appropriate, challenging, and rewarding.

I graduated from National University with my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy. I completed my practicum at High Tech High school in San Marcos, CA, where I counseled adolescents and their families with a collaborative and empathic approach. I then spent two years at a county-contracted outpatient mental health clinic treating adults with a wide array of severe mental health disorders and chronic mental illness. In addition, I have experience in substance use/abuse disorders.
