Hi, I’m Samantha. I am a therapist in training with experience supporting children, teens, and adults through anxiety, ADHD, autism, emotional regulation, relationships, and life transitions. I have a background in ABA and therapeutic work with children, using CBT, play therapy, attachment-based, person-centered, and experiential approaches. I am currently completing an MFT master’s degree and practicing under supervision.

I enjoy working with children, teens, and adults, as well as individuals, couples, and families. I especially value working with clients who may feel like they are still figuring themselves out or trying to understand why certain things feel harder than they seem for others. I enjoy meeting people at different stages of life and adapting therapy to their age, personality, needs, and goals rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

I frequently work with anxiety, ADHD, autism, emotional regulation, self-esteem, stress, relationship and family concerns, life transitions, and everyday challenges that can feel overwhelming. I also enjoy helping clients better understand their patterns, communication, emotions, and reactions so they can develop strategies that feel realistic and useful in their day-to-day lives.

My style is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. I believe therapy works best when clients feel like we are working with each other rather than me simply telling them what to do. I draw from attachment-based and experiential approaches, along with practical skills when they are helpful. I also like to incorporate creativity, play, and activities when they fit the client, especially with children and teens.

I want clients to feel comfortable being themselves and know that they do not have to present a certain way in therapy. I want them to feel heard, respected, and understood without judgment. I also want therapy to feel like a place where they can be honest about the things that are difficult while still feeling hopeful and supported as they work toward change.

Sessions are conversational, collaborative, and flexible. Some sessions may involve talking through what has been happening, while others may focus more on developing a specific skill, exploring emotions, working through a relationship concern, or using a creative or experiential activity. I try to follow what is most relevant to the client rather than forcing every session into the same structure.

I hope clients leave therapy with a deeper understanding of themselves and greater confidence in handling the challenges that come their way. I want them to recognize their strengths, better understand their emotions and relationships, and develop coping strategies that actually fit their lives. Ultimately, I hope clients feel more capable of navigating life while feeling comfortable being who they are.

I’m passionate about creativity and the different ways people express themselves and make sense of their experiences. I enjoy creative activities and finding ways to bring curiosity, play, and imagination into everyday life. I think creativity can be a meaningful way to explore emotions and perspectives, especially when words do not always capture what someone is experiencing.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially when you may not know exactly what you need or where to begin. You do not have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. We can start wherever you are and take the time to understand what is going on together.

My goal is to create a space where you can be yourself, speak openly, and feel comfortable bringing both the difficult and everyday parts of life into the room. Therapy can look different for everyone, so I work collaboratively with each client to find an approach that feels natural and useful to them.

Whether you’re working through anxiety, relationships, emotional challenges, a life transition, or simply trying to understand yourself better, we can start there.
