Hi, Iām Tiffany. I have worked in the addiction field for over a decade across all levels of care. I also have experience managing treatment programs, domestic violence services, shelter services, and prevention programs. I currently work with addiction, grief and loss, and abusive relationships.
I enjoy working with individuals who are new to therapy, as well as clients navigating grief and loss, codependency, self-esteem issues, life transitions, anxiety, and depression. I help clients learn how to accurately identify and express how they are feeling. I provide compassionate, non-judgmental support that encourages clients to recognize their own strengths and resiliency.
My style is trauma-informed, with a mix of being direct and empathic. I help clients recognize patterns so they can create new ways of living. I want clients to feel understood, but also challenged. I also want them to feel my humanness in the therapeutic relationship.
Sessions with me are collaborative. I want to know how someone has experienced the time between sessions, including what went well and what challenges they were presented with. I hope clients learn to catch themselves when defaulting to negative patterns, reframe their thoughts, and practice compassion toward themselves.
Outside of my work, I am passionate about work-life balance, which includes traveling and enjoying soccer.
I believe therapeutic work is some of the most meaningful work we will do in life. It is important that you find the right fit, and I encourage clients to search for someone who can provide the type of support they are seeking.
