Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

LMFT #39248

Hi, I’m Azizeh. I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist offering discreet, high-touch couples therapy and marriage counseling, grounded in nearly 30 years of clinical experience. My work is devoted to supporting individuals and couples who seek depth, excellence, and meaningful transformation within a space that feels both refined and deeply human.

For almost three decades, I have had the honor of working with thousands of clients from diverse cultural, professional, and personal backgrounds. My clients often include executives, entrepreneurs, physicians, creatives, and high-achieving professionals, as well as couples navigating complex relationship dynamics, life transitions, and emotional crossroads. They come seeking not only relief, but greater clarity, emotional connection, and lasting change.

I’m a licensed psychotherapist specializing in couples therapy, relationship healing, and emotional well-being. I primarily work with couples to help them reconnect, rebuild trust, and strengthen communication, while also supporting individuals and families on their journeys toward healing, clarity, and emotional balance. I understand that beginning therapy can feel vulnerable and uncertain, and I strive to make that first step feel safe, supportive, and meaningful.

I support clients with couples therapy, marital conflicts, relationship therapy, male depression, male issues, cross-cultural marriages, pre-marital issues, intimacy, intimacy and sexuality, anxiety, life transitions, and infidelity.

After earning my Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, I completed four additional years of advanced training in Integrated Body Psychotherapy (IBP), with specialized focus on couples therapy, communication, infidelity recovery, emotional crisis, anxiety, creativity, and sexuality. My clinical approach is informed by leading evidence-based modalities, including the Gottman Method, the Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy (PACT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

By integrating somatic intelligence, nervous system regulation, attachment science, and experiential interventions, I offer a highly attuned and effective therapeutic process that supports deep emotional connection, relational security, and enduring transformation.

My professional training, combined with my life experience as a woman, daughter, wife, and adoptive mother, has shaped a therapeutic style that is both clinically sophisticated and deeply human. I bring warmth, presence, and discernment into each session, creating a refined, confidential space where clients feel respected, emotionally safe, and empowered to engage in meaningful reflection and growth.

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: meaningful change happens when people feel truly seen, heard, and supported. My role is not to tell you who to be, but to walk alongside you, helping you gain clarity, strengthen connection, and move toward a more fulfilling emotional and relational life.

We all carry stories from where we’ve come, some inherited, some chosen. Therapy is the place where we begin to hear our own voice within them. Relationships are deeply influenced by unspoken cultural beliefs about communication, emotional expression, boundaries, gender roles, and expectations of love and partnership. My work honors these cultural layers, helping clients feel respected, understood, and emotionally safe.

I hope clients gain clarity, peace and freedom, belief in themselves, and improvement in their personal and professional life.

Outside of my work, I am passionate about being a good mother, advancing my clinical skills, dancing, archery, yoga, spending time with family and friends, global justice, and making good lives better.
