Hi, I’m Bonnie Landau Weed. I use a holistic approach, knowing that people learn and grow in different ways. We start with Solution Focused Counseling to help you get your bearings with any current life stressors, then we work on healing areas that are out of balance. My areas of therapeutic specialty are specifically chosen based on personal experience and the difficulties I had when seeking my own support. Working with a therapist who truly understands your perspective provides a powerful resource for creative solutions.
I work with a range of clients from early adolescence through late adulthood, with a special emphasis on neurodivergent adolescents, their parents, late-diagnosed adults, individuals with social anxiety, and people struggling with life transitions. I have been a special education advocate, and I have extensive experience supporting parents navigating the special education process.
I frequently help clients with anxiety, social anxiety, identity exploration, career goals, life transitions, trauma, depression, grief, burnout, and spiritual psychology.
Counseling is more than sharing feelings. It is a collaborative exploration and solution-finding process that empowers clients to learn how to manage life stressors. My counseling style is warm, empathetic, honest, and direct. You can expect it to be goal-oriented, with plenty of space for processing emotions. We will work together to facilitate positive change in your life and relationships.
When working with me, I want clients to feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported. My goal is to create a space where you can be fully yourself without judgment, where your experiences are respected and your perspective truly matters. I also want you to feel empowered and hopeful. Therapy with me is not just about processing emotions, but about gaining practical tools and insights so you can navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and clarity. Together, we focus on what’s already working in your life while building new strategies for growth and healing.
Sessions with me feel warm, collaborative, and focused. There’s space to process your emotions openly while also working toward practical, goal-oriented solutions. You can expect a balance of honest conversation, support, and skill-building, so you leave feeling both understood and better equipped to handle what you’re facing.
Over time, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of yourself, along with practical tools to manage life’s challenges more confidently. My goal is for you to feel more empowered, resilient, and able to create meaningful, lasting change in your life and relationships.
I am a rose gardener and an artist, and I love it when clients find hobbies that help with calming and grounding.
